Tarishi Desai

This week, we were honoured to be speaking at the Clinical Oncology Society of Australia (COSA) Annual Scientific Meeting and International Psycho-Oncology (IPOS) Congress, where the theme “Optimising care, optimising outcomes” reflects a powerful commitment to collaboration across disciplines. Held in Adelaide (11–14 November 2025), this year’s program went beyond oncology — embracing a truly multidisciplinary approach to improving outcomes for all people affected by cancer.

Our Manager - Treatment & Supportive Care, Tarishi Desai, presented on carer’s rights and the importance of the law in improving the lives of carers, which is part of the work we’re doing on the legal and financial challenges people face while navigating a cancer experience.

Funded by the Victorian Legal Services Board Grants Program. We look forward to launching those findings as well as recommendations for legal and policy change, to further support Victorians, in 2026.

Tarishi’s spotlight reminded all that healthcare and legal protections must go hand in hand.
