Hayley leads the McCabe Centre team, managing operations and driving forward its mission to promote the effective use of law to prevent cancer and ensure equitable treatment and supportive care for people affected.

Sondra provides strategic counsel and operational advice in the delivery of the McCabe Centre’s capacity building and engagement programmes, and technical legal advice on existing and emerging issues in cancer and NCD prevention and control.

Rachel Kitonyo Devotsu

Regional Manager for Africa

Rachel is based in Nairobi, Kenya. She leads the components of the McCabe Centre’s training and capacity building programs that relate to the African region and provides technical support to governments in the African Region.

Regional Manager for Asia

Ma-Anne is based in Manila, Philippines. She leads the components of the McCabe Centre’s training and capacity building programs that relate to the Asian region and provides technical support to governments in the Asian region.

Suzanne’s work focuses on regulatory measures to prevent cancer and other noncommunicable diseases, as well as health, trade and investment law in the context of NCD prevention.

Tarishi leads the McCabe Centre’s work on using law to address cancer care and control issues including improving access to cancer care, human rights and cancer inequities, and the regulation of health service providers and health information.

Clare’s work focuses on the interplay between public health, trade and investment law in relation to NCD prevention, with a focus on the regulation of the harmful use of alcohol.

Sarah’s work focuses on the interplay between law and cancer care issues with a focus on improving access to cancer care and information, universal health coverage, and the human rights of people affected by cancer.

Anasha Flintoff

Legal Research Officer

Anasha is a Legal Research Officer at the McCabe Centre for Law and Cancer. Her work at the McCabe Centre primarily focuses on how international and domestic regulatory measures can be used to address the risk factors of cancer and other non-communicable diseases such as tobacco use and air pollution.

Communications & Engagement Manager

Diane’s focus is on strategic communications and stakeholder engagement for the McCabe Centre, working closely with Cancer Council and the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC), and other key collaborators such as the World Health Organisation (WHO).
