Ma‑Anne is the Regional Manager for Asia at the McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer and is based in Manila, Philippines. She is a public health lawyer who brings over a decade of experience across legal practice, policy reform, health advocacy, and program management.

She leads the Asia‑focused components of the Centre’s training and capacity‑building programs and provides technical legal support to governments across the region, with a focus on strengthening legal frameworks for public health.

Ma-Anne interned with the Office of the Solicitor General and the Office of the Government Corporate Counsel of the Philippines. She previously worked in a private law firm in Metro Manila practicing in civil, labor and corporate law. and held senior project roles with law and health reform organisation, ImagineLaw, Inc. She currently sits as part of the Board of Trustees of the organization.

From 2020 to 2024, Ma‑Anne served as a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines College of Law where she taught Family Law, Legal Theory and Legal History.

She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, with a minor in English Literature, from Ateneo de Manila University. Ma-Anne also volunteers as part of the Secretariat of the Asia Pacific Alcohol Policy Alliance where she serves as Legal Advisor.
